WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Melky Cabrera robbed Jose Vidro of a Homerun!

Jason Giambi rocketed 2 homeruns and Sidney Ponson allowed Dave Murray to rest
his bullpen, tossing a complete game at SAFECO Field as the New York (AL)

inning, slapped a base-hit in the 4th inning and doubled plating two runs in
the 5th inning. New York (AL) bats were very productive in the 1st inning
with 5 runs on 5 hits, the 2nd inning when they had 4 runs on 3 hits and the
5th inning when they had 4 runs on 3 hits. New York (AL) had 20 hits for the
afternoon.

The win went to Ponson(1-0) who allowed 5 runs in the game. Miguel
Batista(0-2) was hit with the loss.
