The score was tied at 2 after nine. New York (NL) ended up winning it in the
10th inning. Luis Castillo laced a base-hit. Carlos Beltran stepped up to
the plate and he singled. Beltran then stole second base. David Wright was
next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Ryan Church came to the
plate and drew a walk to load the bases. Daniel Murphy added his
contribution to the rally and hit a sacrifice fly. Overall New York (NL)
out-hit Houston 12 to 7.

The win was credited to Francisco Rodriguez(1-0) who went 2 innings allowing
no runs. Jose Valverde(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
