It was a great finish at Coors Field as the Colorado Rockies pulled off a
dramatic comeback beating the Atlanta Braves by the count of 2 to
1.

Colorado erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs
on 2 hits. Miguel Olivo started the inning off right when he stroked a
one-base hit. Jonathan Herrera stepped up to the plate and he reached on an
error. Clint Barmes then slapped a single, and an error was also committed,
resulting in a mighty exciting win for Colorado and the 22,953 home town fans
in attendance. Neither team was able to score until the 7th inning.

The win went to Octavio Dotel(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Billy Wagner(2-1) suffered the loss in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 2 hits
in 1/3 of an inning.

'Wow, that was fun!', Dotel said following the game. 'Once in a while you play
a game that reminds you just why you got into this business to begin with!'

Aubrey Huff knocked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Matt Cain tossed a complete
game as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates by a score
of 8 to 1 at AT&T Park.

It seemed that Pittsburgh pitching was serving up softballs for Huff to hit.
He launched a three-run homer in the 3rd inning, ripped a base-knock bringing
in a run in the 5th inning, lined a base-hit in the 6th inning and smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 8th inning. San Francisco totaled 13 hits on
the afternoon.

The win went to Cain(3-3) who allowed 1 run in the game. Daniel McCutchen(0-2)
was the losing pitcher. He was not very effective, surrendering 6 runs in 4
and 1/3 innings.

'Huff led the way - we just jumped on his back and let him take us,' Cain
said. 'I'm glad I don't have to face him. I'm glad he's on my team.'
