Delmon Young next to the plate and he cracked a two-run shot giving Philadelphia the win much to the delight of the home town crowd. Although they lost, New York (NL) did out-hit Philadelphia 12 to 6. Jonathan Papelbon(1-1) allowed 1 run in 1 inning, and picked up the victory. The losing pitcher was David Aardsma(1-3) in relief. He gave up 1 run and 1 hit in 2/3 of an inning.
