Kevin Youkilis smacked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at US Cellular Field as the
Boston Redsox, running on all cylinders, ripped the Chicago (AL) Whitesox by
a large 10 to 0 margin.

Youkilis was unconscious all day. The Chicago (AL) fans hated to see him
approaching the batter's box as he just kept delivering base hits! He doubled
in the 1st inning, ripped a base-knock which scored a run in the 2nd inning,
bombed a two-run dinger in the 4th inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 4th
of the season) in the 6th inning. Boston had 18 hits for the afternoon while
Chicago (AL) had 11.

The victory went to Josh Beckett(1-0) who went 8 and 1/3 innings, allowing no
runs. The loss was charged to Mark Buehrle(0-1). He got hit hard, allowing 9
hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

Youkilis was jubilant after the game 'Let me see a box-score' he joked, 'I
want to see how that game looks on paper.'
