In a dramatic ending at Citizen's Bank Park the Philadelphia Phillies won in
their last at-bat beating the Cincinnati Reds by the count of 5 to
4.

Philadelphia scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Pedro
Feliz ripped a base-knock. Carlos Ruiz stepped up next and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt. John Mayberry Jr was the next batter, but he struck out.
Shane Victorino followed and he delivered a one-base hit making Philadelphia
the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Although they lost,
Cincinnati did out-hit Philadelphia 10 to 5.

Ryan Madson(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing 1
run. Josh Roenicke(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief.
