Jeff Keppinger had 2 base hits and Tim Lincecum pitched a complete game as the
San Francisco Giants beat the Chicago (NL) Cubs by a score of 8 to 1.

San Francisco started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half
of the first scoring 2 runs on 2 hits. Andres Torres led off and got things
going when he drew a walk. Keppinger stepped into the batter's box and he
slapped a one-base hit. Carlos Beltran then doubled. Pablo Sandoval
followed and he would ground out. The early run support proved sufficient
for Lincecum(2-2) and San Francisco. That was all the run support Lincecum
required. San Francisco managed 8 hits in their victory.

Rodrigo Lopez(2-1) absorbed the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 6
runs in 3 innings.
