Tim Lincecum racked up an impressive total of 12 strikeouts at AT&T Park as
the San Francisco Giants beat the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by the count of 3
to 1.

Lincecum(3-0) was virtually untouchable. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits
and 1 walk in 9 innings. The pitchers took over after the 4th inning as
neither team was able to score again.

Eric Stults(0-1) was the losing pitcher. Lincecum was obviously very pleased
with his performance in the aftermath of the game, 'It was just one of those
games where everything worked. My arm felt great, heck, I could have pitched
another two or three innings. I only hope that I can do it again next time
out!'
