Andy Marte had 3 base hits as the Cleveland Indians outscored the Minnesota

Cleveland promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring 3 runners
on 2 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Jhonny Peralta who brought a
roar from the partisan Progressive Field fans when he belted a three-run
homer (his 1st of the season). Cleveland dominated offensively as they
scored in 6 different innings.

Nick Blackburn(0-1) absorbed the loss. His ERA ballooned from 2.57 to 5.84
