Brad Penny pitched a 2 hitter as the San Francisco Giants topped the Arizona
club by a score of 7 to 1 at AT&T Park.

San Francisco tallied 6 runs in the 6th inning when they had 4 base hits. It
was enough to earn the victory. San Francisco totaled 8 hits on the
afternoon.

Penny(1-0) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Doug Davis(2-6) ended
up with the loss. He pitched 5 innings giving up 6 hits and 1 walk.

'Penny just dominated us' losing pitcher Davis said. 'Hopefully we can get to
him the next time around'
