Josh Beckett had an impressive outing as the smoking-hot Boston Redsox topped
the Minnesota Twins by a score of 6 to 3 at Fenway Park.
 
Minnesota was unable to climb back into it after Boston went ahead for good in
the 2nd inning scoring a single run.  After an out was recorded, Jacoby
Ellsbury ripped a solo home run.  For the game Boston out-hit Minnesota 12 to
8.  
 
Beckett(6-1) allowed no runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory. Matt
Albers was credited with his 2nd save.  Francisco Liriano(0-5) took the loss.
