Adrian Gonzalez went deep as the Boston Redsox outscored the Los Angeles(AL)
Angels 5 to 2.
 
Boston had 2 runs cross the plate in the top of the 7th inning.  After two
outs Marco Scutaro kicked off the action when he slapped a one-base hit.
Jacoby Ellsbury stepped up next and he cleared the fences for a two-run home
run.  Los Angeles(AL) went down quietly in the bottom of the 9th.  
 
The win was credited to Alfredo Aceves(2-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings
allowing no runs. Jonathan Papelbon recorded the save, his 2nd.  Dan
Haren(1-1) was hit with the loss.
