WEB GEMS- Bot 5th: Robbie Grossman robbed A.J. Pierzynski of a Homerun!

Adrian Beltre blasted 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Rangers Ballpark as the
Texas Rangers belted the Houston Astros by the count of 15 to 5.

Beltre was really 'in the zone'. He belted a three-run homer in the 3rd
inning, ripped a base-hit which scored a run in the 4th inning, lined a
single in the 7th inning and hit a bases-empty home run in the 8th inning.
Texas lit up the scoreboard in the 8th inning when they had 9 runs on 6 hits.
Texas ended up with 16 hits for the game while Houston had 11.

The win went to Nick Tepesch(2-2) who allowed 5 runs in 6 innings. Tepesch got
relief help from Tanner Scheppers who gained credit for his 1st save. Jordan
Lyles(0-3) suffered the loss. He got hammered, allowing 6 hits and 4 walks
in 3 innings.

Beltre was in a good mood after the game, 'I'm just seeing and hitting the
ball real well now. I made some adjustments last week and they are paying
off. That's what this game is about. making adjustments as the season goes
along.'
