Clayton Kershaw(1-1) and Josh Johnson(2-2) locked horns in a pitcher's duel
with Kershaw and the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers coming out on top of the Florida
Marlins 4 to 0.

Los Angeles(NL) took the lead off Johnson in the first inning with 3 runs
utilizing 4 base hits. After two outs Manny Ramirez started the attack as he
drew a walk. Andre Ethier came to the plate and lined a base-hit. Casey
Blake then lofted a three-run 'big-fly'. James Loney followed and he lined a
one-base hit. Matt Kemp stepped into the box and banged out a single. The
early run support proved sufficient for Kershaw and Los Angeles(NL). That
was all the run support Kershaw required. Los Angeles(NL) had 8 hits for the
game and Florida had 3.
