Toronto came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 8th inning plating
2 runs. After an out was recorded, Alex Rios kicked off the action when he
drew a walk. Kevin Millar was next and he cleared the fences for a two-run
home run. Lyle Overbay then drew a walk. Rod Barajas followed and he
grounded into a double play. Jason Frasor relieved and was untouched by New
York (AL) as he recorded the save, his 2nd.

Roy Halladay(1-2) picked up the victory, allowing 6 runs in 8 innings. Jose
Veras(0-2) was given the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning and surrendered

Los Angeles(AL) took the lead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring
one runner. Howie Kendrick doubled. Chone Figgins came to the plate and
laid down a sacrifice bunt. Erick Aybar then hit a deep fly. Los

Rzepczynski(1-0) finally bested his Oakland opposite, Brett Anderson(0-2), by

Oakland A's won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Minnesota Twins at McAfee
Coliseum pulling it out in their last at bats, 3 to 2.

The game was decided in the 9th inning. Mark Ellis stroked a base-hit. Daric
Barton stepped into the batter's box and he lined a single. Orlando Cabrera
then laid down a sacrifice bunt. One out later, Rajai Davis stepped up to
the plate and he lined a one-base hit making Oakland the victors to the
delight of the home town faithful. Oakland had 11 hits for the game and
Minnesota had 6.

The win was credited to Andrew Bailey(1-0) who went 1 inning allowing 1 run.
Craig Breslow(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief.
