Manny Ramirez slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Bronson Arroyo allowed Andy
Virostek to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Boston Redsox
topped the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 8 to 2 at Fenway Park.

It was a good day for Boston thanks to Ramirez. He smashed a bases-empty
'big-fly' in the 1st inning and delivered a solo blast (his 5th of the
season) in the 4th inning. Boston banged out 7 hits on the night.

The victory went to Arroyo(1-1) who went the distance allowing 2 runs. Rodrigo
Lopez(1-1) was given the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 5
runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
