Second baseman Ron Belliard left the yard and had 3 RBI at Metrodome as the
Cleveland Indians belted the Minnesota Twins by the count of 12 to
1.

Belliard enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He stroked a one-base hit bringing
in a run in the 1st inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 2nd of
the season) in the 3rd inning and laced a base-hit in the 7th inning.
Cleveland finished with 18 hits while Minnesota ended up with 8.

The victory was credited to Kevin Millwood(1-1) who went 5 innings, allowing 1
run. Kyle Lohse(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 4 homeruns in 9
innings of work.
