The Minnesota Twins nipped the Oakland A's 4 to 3 at Metrodome in a hard
fought contest.

Scott Baker(1-1) had a steady outing. He surrendered 7 hits and 1 walk in 6
and 1/3 innings and was touched for 2 homeruns. Minnesota totaled 8 hits on
the afternoon.

Baker got relief help from Joe Nathan who gained credit for his 2nd save.
Kirk Saarloos(1-1) took the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite not
allowing an earned run in his 7 innings of work.
