David Dellucci had 2 base hits as the Texas Rangers topped the Seattle
Mariners by a score of 3 to 1 at SAFECO Field.

Kenny Rogers(1-1) had a solid outing for Texas. He was reached for 8 hits and
2 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings lowering his ERA to 4.29. The teams had been
locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.

Rogers got relief help from Francisco Cordero who gained credit for his 3rd
save. Jeff Harris(0-3) was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed 1
hit and 1 walk in 2/3 of an inning.

'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Rogers said.
