Aaron Miles had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals staged a
dramatic comeback over the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 4 to 3 at Busch
Stadium.

St. Louis had the winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 3 runs on 3 base
hits. Tyler Greene led off and he delivered a single. Carlos Villanueva
then threw a wild pitch. Villanueva then let one slip out of his hand for a
wild pitch. Randy Winn was up next and he would ground out. Felipe Lopez
stepped into the box and drew a walk. Albert Pujols added to the outburst
and drew a walk. Colby Rasmus was next and he delivered a base-hit to load
the bases. Miles then lined a one-base hit. St. Louis ended up with 11 hits
for the game while Milwaukee had 7.

The win went to Kyle McClellan(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Trevor
Hoffman(0-1) was given the loss in relief. Tony LaRussa was ebullient after
the game, 'It's great to win a hard fought game like that. Our guys just
weren't going to be denied. And did you see the fans - they were going wild!
Yes sir, a very enjoyable win this afternoon!'
