Left fielder Jerry Sands blasted a homerun at Dodger Stadium as the Los
Angeles(NL) Dodgers beat the Washington Nationals 2 to 0.

The game started off with Los Angeles(NL) taking the lead in the first plating
an isolated run on 2 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. After
the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.

and allowing no runs. Javy Guerra preserved the game for Kershaw, recording
his his 2nd. Tom Gorzelanny(0-2) was charged with the loss.
