Jacoby Ellsbury went yard and had 3 RBI as the Boston Redsox clobbered the
outmatched Oakland A's, 11 to 1.

Ellsbury had a big day with his bat. He tripled in the 1st inning and blasted
a two-run home run in the 9th inning. Offensively, Boston was a juggernaut.
They scored in 6 separate innings.

The victory was credited to Josh Beckett(1-0) who went 5 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Trevor Cahill(0-1) was charged with the loss. He was
touched for 8 hits and 4 walks in 5 innings.
