First baseman James Loney had 2 base hits and Clayton Kershaw pitched a 3
hitter as the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers won at Dodger Stadium in dramatic
fashion over the Milwaukee Brewers, the final score, 2 to 1.
 
The game was decided in the 9th inning.  After an out was recorded, Matt Kemp
banged out a single.  Jerry Sands was next and he doubled giving Los
Angeles(NL) the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy.  Los
Angeles(NL) had only 5 hits for the game.  
 
Kershaw(2-0) lasted until the end allowing 1 run for the win. Kameron Loe(0-1)
took the loss in relief.  He gave up 1 hit and no walks in 1/3 of an inning.
 
'We didn't have a whole lot of chances tonight,' Andy Virostek said. 'Kershaw
just was too much for our guys.'
