At Minute Maid Park the Houston Astros snapped their 5 game slide and
outscored the San Francisco Giants 5 to 2.

Geoff Geary(5-0) was dominant in relief. No one was able to reach base in his
1 and 2/3 innings. Houston had a total of 10 hits for the game.

Geary got help from Jose Valverde who earned his 8th save. Matt Cain(5-4) was
the loser. He pitched 7 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 9 hits and no walks.
