Gerardo Parra had 3 base hits as the Arizona club defeated the San Francisco
Giants by a score of 4 to 2 at AT&T Park.

Arizona scored 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning. The big moment was
provided by Justin Upton who silenced AT&T Park as he doubled which was good
for two runs. The San Francisco batters didn't put up a fight in the bottom
of the 9th.

Daniel Hudson(3-3) went 8 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Hudson was
helped out by J.J. Putz who recorded his 6th save. Ryan Vogelsong(4-1) was
the losing pitcher. His ERA ballooned from 1.61 to 2.38 as he allowed 4 runs
in 6 innings.
