Martin Prado hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI as the Atlanta Braves bested
the Washington Nationals 6 to 5 at Turner Field.

Washington was unable to climb back into it after Atlanta went ahead for good
in the 3rd inning when they came up with 3 runs on 2 hits. The key offensive
moment was provided by Prado who made the crowd happy when he smacked a
three-run homer. Washington was out-hit by Atlanta, 8 hits to 4.

The victory went to Derek Lowe(5-2) who went 6 and 1/3 innings, allowing 3
runs. Craig Kimbrel recorded the save, his 15th. Livan Hernandez(4-2) was
hit with the loss. Atlanta knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 6 runs in
5 innings.
