WEB GEMS- Bot 8th: Austin Jackson robbed Travis Hafner of a Homerun!

Prince Fielder connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the Detroit Tigers
defeated the Cleveland Indians by the score of 9 to 6 at Progressive
Field.

Detroit set the tone of the game in the first inning plating an isolated run.
Austin Jackson laced a base-hit. Jackson then stole second base. After an
out was recorded, Justin Masterson then unleashed a wild pitch. One out
later, Fielder came to the plate and was hit by a pitch. Detroit kept the
pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.

The victory was credited to Max Scherzer(4-2) who went 5 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Masterson(3-4) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 1 and 2/3
innings and surrendered 3 hits and 3 walks.
