Mike Lowell rocketed 2 homeruns as the Florida Marlins topped the Atlanta
Braves by a score of 7 to 6 at Turner Field.

Lowell provided the offensive punch. He caught a hold of a bad pitch for a
Grand Slam homerun in the 4th inning and delivered a solo blast (his 2nd of
the season) in the 6th inning. Florida had 12 hits overall, while Atlanta
had 9.

Dontrelle Willis(1-1) got the win allowing 5 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Jim
Mecir earned the save, his 1st. Horacio Ramirez(0-1) took the loss. He was
unable to control the Florida offense and allowed 11 hits and 2 walks in 6
and 1/3 innings.
