At Minute Maid Field, the Houston faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel. Roger Clemens(1-0) finally bested his Washington
counterpart, Esteban Loaiza(1-1), by the score of 3 to 1.

Houston took the lead for good in the bottom of the 6th inning plating an
isolated run. Both teams totaled 6 on the afternoon.

Brad Lidge recorded his 2nd save. Loaiza was tagged with the loss. He gave
up 3 runs and 6 hits in 6 and 1/3 innings.
