In a tight game it was the San Francisco Giants 4, the Chicago (NL) Cubs 2 at
Wrigley Field.

San Francisco had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning scoring 2
runs utilizing 2 base hits. After two were out Aaron Rowand opened up the
rally as he drew a walk. John Bowker stepped up next and he doubled. Rich
Aurilia then banged out a single, and an error was also committed. Omar
Vizquel followed and he drew a walk. San Francisco had 8 hits for the game
and Chicago (NL) had 5.

Keiichi Yabu(2-0) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory.
Brian Wilson was credited with his 3rd save. Ryan Dempster(2-2) was the
losing pitcher.
