WEB GEMS- Top 1st: Dexter Fowler robbed Greg Dobbs of an extra base hit.

Seth Smith slammed 2 homeruns as the Colorado Rockies staged a dramatic
comeback over the Florida Marlins by a score of 10 to 7 at Coors
Field.

Colorado scored the winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning as they
scored 4 runs on 2 base hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Smith
who made the crowd happy when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun.
The game was a wild affair with the lead changing hands 5 times.

Huston Street(1-1) went 1 inning allowing 2 runs for the victory. The loss was
charged to Randy Choate(1-1) in relief. He gave up no hits and 1 walk
without retiring a batter.

The Colorado ballclub's record now stands at 8-12. Florida can't seem to snap
out of their recent 'funk'. Now they have a miserable 2-8 record over the
last couple weeks.
