Cody Ross smashed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the San Francisco Giants topped
the Colorado Rockies by a score of 7 to 6 at Coors Field.

Ross really lit it up for San Francisco. The Colorado fans let him have it
for what he did to their boys. He doubled knocking in a run in the 2nd
inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 4th inning, rifled a three-run blast
in the 6th inning and ripped a one-base hit in the 9th inning. Colorado
threatened in the 9th but San Francisco was able to put down the rally.

Matt Cain(5-2) allowed 5 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Brian
Wilson recorded his 13th save. Jhoulys Chacin(1-1) was tagged with the loss.
He served up 3 gopher balls in 5 and 2/3 innings.

Lee Michaels was beaming after the game, 'Not only were we making good
contact, but a lot of balls we hit seemed to have 'eyes'! I just love winning
these tight ones! It was just our day - no doubt about it!'
