In a good matchup it was the New York (NL) Mets 5, the Colorado Rockies 3 at
Coors Field.

New York (NL) tallied 3 runs in the 5th inning. The highlight belonged to
Daniel Murphy who silenced the stadium when he lost the ball over the fence
for three runs. Colorado had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came
up short.

The win was credited to R.A. Dickey(5-3) who went 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 3
runs. Dickey was helped out by Tim Byrdak who recorded his 2nd save. Jason
Hammel(2-2) took the loss. By giving up 5 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings his ERA
increased from 0.90 to 2.28.

'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said George Nasser 'But we
have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
