At Nationals Park, the Washington fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Bud
Norris(2-0) finally bested his Washington opposite, Craig Stammen(0-3), by
the score of 3 to 0.

Norris contributed a very nicely pitched game. He allowed only 6 hits and 5
walks in 8 and 1/3 innings. Houston rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.

Norris was helped out by Jose Valverde who recorded his 1st save. Stammen was
the loser. He pitched 7 innings giving up 7 hits and no walks.
