Hunter Pence smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies
topped the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers by a score of 8 to 6 at Citizens Bank
Park.
 
The Philadelphia fans enjoyed the offense provided by Pence.  He lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' in the 1st inning and blasted a solo shot in the 3rd
inning.  Philadelphia had 12 hits for the game and Los Angeles(NL) had 9.
 
Cliff Lee(2-0) went 7 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Lee got relief
help from Ryan Madson who gained credit for his 3rd save.  The losing pitcher
was Ted Lilly(0-2).  He served up 3 homeruns in his 6 innings.
