TEAM RISP- Giants: 5 for 9 Reds: 4 for 12

The San Francisco Giants nipped the Cincinnati Reds 8 to 7 at Great American
Bpk in a hard fought contest.

Hunter Pence was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine
day at their team's expense. He slapped a base-hit scoring a run in the 1st
inning and depressed the partisan hometown fans with a grand slam home run in
the 5th inning. Cincinnati was retired without difficulty in the bottom of
the 9th.

Chad Gaudin(2-0) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory.
Santiago Casilla gained credit for his 1st save. Mike Leake(2-3) absorbed
the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
