Chris Parmelee ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Minnesota Twins defeated
the Cleveland Indians 5 to 4 at Progressive Field.
 
Parmelee had a big day with his bat.  He cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 2nd inning, slapped a single in the 3rd inning and blasted a
two-run home run in the 7th inning.  Cleveland tried unsuccessfully to come
back in the 9th.  
 
The winning pitcher was Kevin Correia(1-0) who allowed 4 runs in 6 innings.
Glen Perkins got the save, his 5th.  Cody Allen(0-3) was the losing pitcher
in relief.
