Jose Guillen hit one over the fence at Citizen's Bank Park as the Washington
Nationals beat the Philadelphia Phillies 2 to 1.

Ryan Drese(2-2) pitched a solid game. He surrendered 7 hits and 3 walks in 6
innings lowering his ERA from 5.09 to 4.18. Philadelphia threatened in the
9th but their rally came up short.

Hector Carrasco gained credit for his 1st save. Vicente Padilla(0-2) took the
loss. 'We didn't get the key hits when we needed them' John Thomas said. 'We
did what we could, we just didn't pull out the win. What can you say?'
