The Philadelphia Phillies edged the Atlanta Braves at Citizen's Bank Park by
the score of 3 to 2.

Atlanta was unable to recover after Philadelphia went ahead in the bottom of
the 4th inning scoring one runner. Neither team managed to score after the
4th inning.

The victory was credited to Vicente Padilla(1-2) who went 8 innings, allowing
2 runs. Billy Wagner recorded his 3rd save. Jorge Sosa(1-2) was charged with
the loss.

Philadelphia now has a record of 11-9. With the loss, the Atlanta ballclub's
record is 8-8.
