Jeff Suppan(2-1), by the score of 3 to 0.

Florida took the lead for good in the top of the 2nd inning plating an

out later, Mike Lowell came up and he doubled scoring the run. That was all
the runs Beckett needed. Florida had 7 hits for the game and St. Louis had
4.

Jim Mecir recorded the save, his 2nd. Suppan was hit with the loss. He
allowed 3 runs and 6 hits in 8 innings.
