Livan Hernandez(1-4) and Dontrelle Willis(2-2) locked horns in a pitcher's
duel with Hernandez and the Washington Nationals coming out on top of the
Florida Marlins 3 to 1.

Washington did all of it's offensive work in the 5th inning with 3 runs using
3 hits. Preston Wilson opened up the inning nicely when he doubled. After
an out was recorded, Cristian Guzman stepped in and he would hit into a
fielders choice bringing in a run. One out later, Brad Wilkerson came up and
he doubled. Jose Guillen followed and he slapped a single which accounted
for two additional runs. Washington finished with 8 hits while Florida ended
up with 4.

Chad Cordero gained credit for his 5th save.
