One run was the difference at Comerica Park as the Detroit Tigers defeated the
Texas Rangers 4 to 3.

Jeremy Bonderman(4-1) delivered a fine performance for Detroit. He was
reached for 4 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings improving his ERA from 4.67 to
4.01. Texas made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the
needed runs across.

Bonderman got help from Fernando Rodney who earned his 2nd save. John
Wasdin(0-3) took the loss in relief. He was pinned with the loss despite not
allowing an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
