Yovani Gallardo retired 10 batters on strikeouts at Great American Bpk where
the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds 6 to 1.

Gallardo(3-0) was very good in the win. He didn't give up much, just 6 hits
and no walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA from 3.81 to 3.13. Milwaukee had
a total of 13 hits for the game.

Bronson Arroyo(2-3) was the loser. He got hammered, allowing 12 hits and 2
walks in 6 and 1/3 innings. 'I thought it was my best performance in a long
time,' said Gallardo. 'I had good command early in the game. I had my control
and composure and everything went well.'
