At Sun Life Stadium, the Florida fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Jonathon Niese(4-1) finally bested his Florida opposite, Alex Sanabia(1-2),
by the score of 2 to 0.

Niese pitched a solid game. He allowed only 4 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings
seeing his ERA drop from 2.00 to 1.54. Both teams' bats went to sleep after
the 3rd inning with no runs scored after that point.

Niese got help from Francisco Rodriguez who was credited with his 7th save.
The losing pitcher was Sanabia. He allowed 4 hits and no walks in 5 innings.
