Catcher Yadier Molina launched 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the St. Louis
Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals by a score of 5 to 4.

It was a good day for St. Louis thanks to Molina. He doubled in the 2nd
inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 4th inning, laced a base-hit
in the 6th inning and blasted a solo shot in the 8th inning. Washington
tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.

Jaime Garcia(2-2) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Ryan
Franklin earned his 5th save. Luis Atilano(2-3) took the loss. He pitched 5
and 2/3 innings allowing 6 hits and 3 walks.

'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us today' Lee Michaels
said. 'We take these games one day at a time, but this one was hard to
take.'
