Halladay(4-0) put on a good performance. He allowed only 7 hits and 1 walk in
9 innings lowering his ERA from 3.99 to 3.42. Philadelphia had 8 hits for
the afternoon.

Derek Lowe(1-6) ended up with the loss. He surrendered 3 runs and 5 hits in 5
and 1/3 innings. 'He was really impressive today,' Lowe said of his
counterpart. 'Our guys were just swinging at air.'
