WEB GEMS- Bot 9th: Yasiel Puig robbed Matt Carpenter of a Homerun!

Hanley Ramirez cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers
bested the St. Louis Cardinals 11 to 4 at Busch Stadium.

Ramirez was a one-man wrecking crew. He doubled resulting in a run in the 1st
inning, stroked a base-hit which brought home a run in the 3rd inning, banged
out a single in the 5th inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the
8th inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 9th inning. Los Angeles(NL)
ended up with 15 hits for the game while St. Louis had 6.

The victory went to Brandon League(1-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs.
Joe Kelly(1-1) took the loss. He allowed Los Angeles(NL) 7 runs in 4 innings
of work.

'The ball was jumping off my bat' Ramirez said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
