16,594 fans watched an exciting game at Metrodome. The Minnesota Twins topped
the Toronto Bluejays by the slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.

Minnesota tallied 2 runs in the 4th inning. The key offensive moment was
provided by Justin Morneau who elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he
popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 1st of the season). The pitchers
took over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.

Johan Santana(1-0) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 7 innings. Joe Nathan got
the save, his 1st. The loss was charged to Roy Halladay(0-1). He pitched 8
innings and surrendered just 3 hits and 2 walks.
