14,930 fans were treated to a fine game at Camden Yards as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end. The Baltimore Orioles won by the
slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.

Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings. Finally, Baltimore
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Felix Pie
clubbed a solo home run making Baltimore the winners and sending the 14,930
fans home happy. Baltimore rapped out 7 hits for the afternoon.

Brian Bass(1-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Joe Nathan(1-2)
was tagged with the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 1 hit in 1 and
1/3 innings.
