In a lop-sided win the Atlanta Braves ripped the San Francisco Giants by a 8
to 3 count.

In the 5th inning Atlanta scored 7 runs when they came up with 4 base hits.
The key at-bat was by Chipper Jones who electrified Turner Field when he
launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a Grand Slam homerun. Both teams
ended up with 8 hits on the afternoon.

The win went to Tim Hudson(3-2) who allowed 3 runs in 6 innings. Hudson got
help from Jonny Venters who was credited with his 1st save. Jonathan
Sanchez(1-2) absorbed the loss. He gave up 7 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings of
work.
